At GLS North America, we power the behind-the-scenes operations of the automotive industry. As an industry leader in garage services, event and location services, and custom vehicle solutions, we support some of the most advanced automotive projects across North America.

We are looking for a hands-on Automotive Technician with experience in mechanical work, fabrication, and diagnostics. This is not your typical shop roleyou'll work on a wide variety of vehicle projects including teardown, fabrication, testing, and failure analysis, while occasionally working directly with customers and supporting live demonstrations.

What You'll Do:

• Perform mechanical work including teardown, repair, and reassembly of vehicles
• Fabricate automotive parts using welding and metalworking tools
• Diagnose vehicle issues and identify system failures
• Support vehicle testing, failure analysis, and project builds
• Conduct vehicle reviews and assist with live or recorded demonstrations
• Work closely with internal teams and occasionally with customers
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow reporting requirements
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid driver's license (Chauffeur's License preferred)
• Verifiable mechanical experience in automotive or related field
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and ability to diagnose issues
• Experience with fabrication, welding, and metalworking tools
• Welding certification or aluminum welding experience preferred
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and programming preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Mix of shop and office-based work
• 80% sitting / detailed work, 20% standing and walking
• MondayFriday schedule with potential overtime as needed
