Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is seeking a Labor Relations Business Partner to join our Platform Construction team in Texas . This position is responsible for managing labor relations activities between McKinstry and union members. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the execution, administration, and performance of collective bargaining agreements in conjunction with Labor Relations Team and Business Unit Leaders. Work with the Director of Labor Relations and trade superintendents to developstrategyon labor issues, including response to grievances and jurisdictional questions. Manage the drug testing compliance / on‑boarding process and assist with unemployment process for union members. Investigate problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals and grievances; provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to company leadership. Stay abreast of developments in regulations affecting union employees and monitor compliance with law. Provide advice and support to various departments, including payroll, withpay and benefits issues for union members. Provide employee life‑cycle support for union employees. Coordinate end‑of‑year gifts, incentives, or bonuses for field employees. Performs other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Education, Knowledge and Abilities Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SharePoint preferred. Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Five (5) years of experience in human resources and/or labor relations. Construction industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or equivalent experience. SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe after hire. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability and willingness to travel regionally. Personal transportation required for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed. The pay range for this position is $80,100 - $134,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
