Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Location: Asheville, NC



Assignment: Travel | 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)



Shift & Schedule:

  • Day Shift | 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and NICU populations in a high-acuity hospital setting.



Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway support
  • Work with advanced equipment such as GE R860 ventilators, Draeger infant/peds vents, V60 NIV, and high-flow oxygen devices
  • Respond to critical care needs across multiple units
  • Document patient care using Cerner EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Active North Carolina Respiratory License
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred:
  • NRP certification
  • Experience across adult, pediatric, and NICU settings
Additional Details:
  • Floating required across all critical care units and floors
  • Patient ratios: 10-25
  • Scrubs: Medium Gray / Pewter
