Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - RRT
Location: Asheville, NC
Assignment: Travel | 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift & Schedule:
Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and NICU populations in a high-acuity hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Location: Asheville, NC
Assignment: Travel | 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift & Schedule:
- Day Shift | 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and NICU populations in a high-acuity hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway support
- Work with advanced equipment such as GE R860 ventilators, Draeger infant/peds vents, V60 NIV, and high-flow oxygen devices
- Respond to critical care needs across multiple units
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Active North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NRP certification
- Experience across adult, pediatric, and NICU settings
- Floating required across all critical care units and floors
- Patient ratios: 10-25
- Scrubs: Medium Gray / Pewter
