The Pharmacy Infusion Technician II assists the Pharmacist in the preparation of medication ordered as permitted by state law. Maintains good customer service by processing, compounding, and delivering medication in a timely manner. Responsible for ordering and inventory of medical supplies and medications. Other duties include ordering medication and stocking inventory, processing clinic medication requisitions, maintaining accurate records and other duties as required by the Pharmacist.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma /GED and completion of Tech Training Program including Sterile Product course
• ACPE Pharmacy Sterile Products Certification/Must be IV Certified PTCB certified TSBP registered
• 6+ years pharmacy experience, 5+ years in pharmacy admixture
• Experience or knowledge with Compounding Sterile Products
• Order entry, purchasing and inventory experience with medications and supplies
• Demonstrated ability to read merchandise labels and invoices; to ask and answer questions over the phone; to write information on prescriptions Able to communicate with customers to handle complaints and problems
• Demonstrated ability to operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions Math cash handling-able to add and subtract; able to make change; able to complete daily cash report
• Demonstrated ability to type 20wpm
• 10-key by touch
• Stress Tolerance - Demonstrated ability to receive prescriptions and ring up sales in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina- to work in a fast-paced environment, and maneuver around pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:

• HMO's and 3rd party managed care experience
• Compounding Chemotherapy
• Demonstrated ability to know when to refer questions, problems, and complaints to a pharmacist

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
