Financial Analyst II SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Financial Analyst II. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Job Summary: The Financial Analyst role will support the USW Combat Systems Department (Code 25) at NUWC working with multiple programs and sponsors. The need for efficiency, organization, good communication skills and the ability to work independently is necessary to ensure all financial milestones are met. The individual will assist government personnel with task execution, consisting of Sponsor and NUWC data calls, task book development, and develop, maintain, and analyze financial reports. The role requires ensuring spend plans are detailed and executed using actual and projected data, metrics, and graphical analysis to properly assist government personnel. Preparing/Populating Funding Document acceptance and modification based on government input. Analyzing financial data to identify project and organizational discrepancies as well as anomalies in task execution; this may include labor charges, non-labor cost reporting, erroneous charges, and overruns. Preparing weekly Expenditure Reports. Performing fiscal year closeout and startup analyses. Active Secret clearance required. Proficient Navy ERP/EDW. Proficient Microsoft Excel. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Experience 3 years of relevant experience working as a Financial Analyst within the DoD sector. All SEACORP employees must hold U.S. citizenship. Location Newport, RI Travel None Clearance Secret Work Environment & Physical Demands Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of less than 40 lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
