St. Francis has regularly out-scored other hospitals on Long Island.St. Francis Hospital is dedicated to providing a supportive environment, committed to the highest standards of patient care, where health care professionals can develop their expertise and strengthen their credentials.Job DetailsResponsibilitiesAssess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry step down patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias)Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.RequirementsPassion for Cardiology1+ years of experienceExperience reading cardiac monitors preferredEducation: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeLicensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & RegistrationCertification: ACLS and BLS required from the American Heart AssociationPosted Salary RangeUSD $58.16 - USD $83.99 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
