We're seeking a Mechanical Drafter II in Sacramento, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact

Produce accurate mechanical drawings that keep projects moving.

Cut field rework through tight coordination with engineers and PMs.

Build the documentation backbone for HVAC and piping installs.

Grow into a senior design or BIM role over time.

Responsibilities

Draft mechanical, piping, and HVAC drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.

Coordinate with engineers on design intent and revisions.

Incorporate redlines and produce as-built drawings.

Maintain CAD standards, blocks, and title block libraries.

Assist with quantity takeoffs as requested.

Manage drawing logs and revisions.

Plot and distribute drawings to field teams.

Support BIM coordination meetings.

Requirements

Must-Haves

2+ years of mechanical drafting experience.

Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit a plus.

Ability to read MEP construction documents.

Attention to detail and organization.

Nice-to-Haves

Associate degree in drafting, BIM, or engineering technology.

Navisworks coordination experience.

Sheet metal or plumbing background.
