Location: Pawling, NY Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Schedule: Day Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary staff to help residents improve their independence, mobility, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions
- Monitor and report patient progress
- Educate residents on adaptive equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Active New York State COTA License required
- Skilled Nursing Facility or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- New graduates are welcome to apply
