Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate interested in becoming a Press Assistant at their VR2 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. Pay: $18.77 - $28.15 per hour depending on experience Additional night shift premium of $2.50 per hour. Included in overtime hours and double-time hours. Schedule: 12 hour - Night Shift 8:00pm – 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule. Long Term Objectives Long term objectives to fulfill operator position Job Responsibilities Prepare raw material rolls for printing Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing Assist in removing rolls from rewind Remove and weigh startup rolls at beginning of job Fill and maintain viscosity of all inks Change Doctor Blades and over fill pans Remove and weigh waste from unwind and rewind of machine Empty refuse containers Make waste bales when baler is full Assist operator in any way for efficient operation and monitoring quality of product Prepare Pre-Set up of sleeves, mandrels, anilox, and inks Daily housekeeping Equality and Diversity Statement Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
