Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of CNC 3 4 and 5 axis horizontal and vertical automated milling machines and manual machine tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines manual and automated.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities to keep machines in good repair and identify issues prior to breakdowns.
- Diagnose issues and develop solutions to ensure maximum machine uptime.
- Lubricates and cleans machines.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
Required Skills:
- CNC and manual machine maintenance experience.
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience.
- Mechanical and electrical background in repair/maintenance of manual/automated/semi-automated machinery.
- Experience with preventative maintenance activities.
- Ability to read wiring / ladder diagrams to aid in the troubleshooting and repair on basic systems/machines.
- Have own basic tools.
- Strong work ethic.
- Self-driven.
Required Experience:
- 5 years with various CNC machines.
- Facilities repair experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand on your feet 8 hours 5 days a week.
- Ability to SAFELY and efficiently climb ladders and get in/out of machines.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
