Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time - Riverside Place

As a valued member of our RN team at Extendicare, you will provide care to residents in accordance with the standards of practice and offer leadership and guidance to the nursing and personal care staff. Location: Riverside Place Home, Windsor, ON. Time Type: Part time. Responsibilities Liaise with interdisciplinary team and care providers to develop, implement, review and evaluate resident complex care plans including education and support. Provide leadership to nursing and personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work. Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the applicable Province/State. Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers. Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset. Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management and customer focus skills. Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and ability to delegate to unregulated care providers. Maintain competencies as per the governing College standards. Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office applications. Current (within 3 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS).
