Associate Investigator

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Regulatory Investigations, Strategy & Enforcement Associate in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience with State Attorneys General, including handling civil investigative demands, multistate investigations, and negotiating resolutions. This role involves advising clients on regulatory enforcement matters and related litigation. Duties Respond to civil investigative demands and coordinate multistate investigations. Negotiate resolutions in complex regulatory enforcement matters. Advise clients on internal investigations and related litigation. Maintain and deepen relationships with State AG offices. Engage in strategic business development for the practice group. Requirements 3 to 6 years of experience with State Attorneys General. Experience in a State Attorney General's office preferred. Familiarity with investigations, enforcement, and multistate coordination. Strong writing skills and a publication record or aptitude for thought leadership. Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence and work. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant state. Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage complex investigations and enforcement matters. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
