Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and contribute to the development of a care plan aimed at achieving patient outcomes.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and maintain safe, evidence-based care within an acute care setting.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; ACLS (or ARC-ALS) required
- At least two years of recent RN experience in the field; acute care and/or cath lab experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work in an acute care environment, including a cath lab setting, with the appropriate credentialing
