Our family of brands — including Lynx Systems Developers, Nevco Media Group, and Scorebird — has grown through both organic expansion and acquisition, creating a dynamic, multi-entity environment for accounting professionals who want variety and room to grow.Position SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting, with a primary focus on Lynx Systems Developers and Nevco Media Group within NetSuite. This position reports to the Director of Accounting and has limited exposure to Made2Manage (Nevco's primary US/Canada ERP), offering ownership of day-to-day accounting for a defined set of entities.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of monthly financial reporting for Lynx Systems Developers and Nevco Media GroupPrepare and analyze journal entries, income statement, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports as requiredSupport the monthly accounting close cycle, including account reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and variance analysisProvide limited support on cash forecasts and annual budgets as neededEnsure books and financials are compliant with GAAP and all other required accounting standardsWork closely with external auditors, providing requested financial information and supporting documentationTake ownership of day-to-day accounting deliverables for assigned entitiesSupport the integration of newly acquired entities into accounting processes and reportingIdentify and help implement process improvements across accounting operationsSpecial projects as assignedRequired Skills and Experience• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required • NetSuite experience strongly preferred • Prophix experience preferred • Experience in a multi-entity, manufacturing, or acquisitive company environment a plus • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments and with external partners • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) • In-office position based in Edwardsville, ILCompensation and Benefits$70,000 - $100,000 Note: Illinois's Equal Pay Act requires a good-faith pay range and general benefits description in all job postings for employers with 15+ employees.
