Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nebraska
• BLS issued through American Heart Association is required

Assignment Details

• 8 hour shift.
• Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm with a one hour lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
• Will work one weekend day every two months.
• Setting includes inpatient and outpatient care.
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics and is primarily post-surgical and orthopedic.
• Reliable transportation is required for the assignment.

Location Highlights

Alliance, Nebraska offers access to open landscapes and regional landmarks in a hospital-based setting suited to travelers seeking a quieter pace. Carhenge is located in Alliance and presents a roadside landmark modeled after Stonehenge, while Scotts Bluff National Monument is about 60 miles west and offers hiking trails and historic views. Chadron State Park is roughly 70 miles northwest for camping and outdoor recreation, and the Sandhills Journey Scenic Byway provides access to one of Nebraska’s most distinct natural regions. The city does not have Uber or Lyft service, and travel through the area is supported by personal vehicle access and regional highways including U.S. Route 385.
