Overview Shifts Available: Days Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Location: Saint John Hospital - Leavenworth, KS The Behavioral Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, compassionate care to patients with acute mental health needs in an inpatient setting. Partnering with Registered Nurses and the interdisciplinary team, the LPN supports patient safety and stabilization through ongoing monitoring, medication administration, and behavioral observation. This role requires sound clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and the ability to manage crisis situations and de-escalation effectively. The Behavioral Health LPN helps maintain a safe therapeutic environment, supports admissions and discharges, ensures accurate documentation, and delivers patient-centered care. You must have: Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
