Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianJSP is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with proven manufacturing experience to support our Resins operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for maintaining uptime, diagnosing equipment issues, and driving reliability improvements across critical production systems.You'll work with a variety of equipment and systems, requiring strong troubleshooting ability and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities include:Execute and own preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsDiagnose issues with motors, relays, fuses, and PLC-controlled equipmentUse diagnostic tools and meters for testing, calibration, and fault isolationPerform fabrication, cutting, and welding as neededIdentify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actionsCommunicate effectively with operations, shift leadership, and maintenance teamsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability effortsRequirements:1 - 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment independentlyStrong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systemsExperience working with PLCs and automated systems preferredAbility to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manualsPhysical and work requirements:Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an industrial environmentComfortable working at heights and climbing laddersAbility to operate or become certified on a forkliftMust be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including overtime as neededAbout JSP:JSP is a global leader in sustainable materials and manufacturing innovation, supporting industries such as automotive, HVAC, packaging, and consumer goods.
