Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,782 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20 an hour plus $1,982.24 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room. The position supports perioperative care in an acute-care setting and requires experience with neuro, orthopedic, trauma, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases. The role includes circulating responsibilities, weekend rotation, and call coverage.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active license or willingness to wait for licensure submission; at least 2 years of experience; experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Schedule: Day shifts of 10 hours, with available schedules of 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; 40 hours per week plus rotating call coverage. Weekend shifts may be 12 hours.
• Additional Information: Registered Nurses should have experience scrubbing and/or circulating neuro, orthopedic, and trauma cases. Experience with cardiac and exploratory laparotomy cases is preferred, and scrubbing experience is a plus. Weekend rotation and call participation are required, with approximately 3–4 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per 4-week period. Call response time is 45 minutes. Self-scheduling is available within operational guidelines, while block scheduling is not guaranteed. Hospital-issued attire is required.
