Energy Efficiency SpecialistAVID Energy Solutions, ® Partner, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team in Methuen, MA earning $90,000 - $190,000 based on experience with uncapped commissions by auditing and reviewing homes with cutting edge tools and technology to assess areas of improvement for energy efficiency and utility cost savings.You will be responsible for conducting Residential Home Energy Assessments served by the Mass Save program. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating insulation and weatherization systems in various residential settings. as well as current home energy usage and recommend improvements and upgrades. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing infrared scans (IR), home reports and recommending and installing various LED's and other small, cost-saving measures.BPI Certification is preferred along with prior experience with the Mass Save program - we will provide you with paid training and a company vehicle is provided after 6 months!Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:Perform residential and multi-family energy assessmentsCompile detailed work recommendations for customers on energy efficiency measures including heat pumps, weatherization, windows and other potential energy savingsProvide Infrared Scans (IR) and home reports using the latest tools and technologyProvide technical assistance, guidance, and training to customers on issues related to energy efficiencyInstall energy saving measures in residential homes and multi-family dwellingsTroubleshoot technical problems and issues related to energy usageCollaborate with clients to explain assessment results and provide guidance on insulation, weatherization and air sealing upgradesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in insulation technology and energy efficiencyGenerate and sell recommended weatherization contractsOther duties as assignedQualifications:1-2 years similar experience in sales or residential home work1+ years of experience with the Mass Save program or similar residential home auditing programBPI Building Analyst Certification preferredStrong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and building codes and principles preferredProvide exceptional customer service while always maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor with our customersSelf-motivated and an ability to work independently or as part of a teamExtremely detail-oriented; exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform within required deadlinesOutstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all timesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasksAbility to enter and maneuver in crawl spaces, basements and attics as neededTravels frequently within assigned territoryConsent to a CORI background check and drug test screeningBenefits:Flexible work scheduleHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceFSA and HSA availableLife insurance and Short-Term DisabilityMultiple Weeks of Paid time off & Paid company holidaysUncapped commissions and bonusesContinuous training and growth opportunitiesReferral program for Customers and EmployeesAbout AVID Energy Solutions:AVID Energy Solutions is a proud Mass Save Partner dedicated to helping home owners reduce their energy output and save on their monthly utility bills.
