General Psychiatrist

OH100G – General PsychiatristState of Ohio is seeking a Psychiatrist for their hospital in Cincinnati. Full time with full benefits! Eligible for State Retirement as well!Job Description:-Full time, 40 hours per week -8AM to 4:30, some flexibility -Monday-Friday -No weekend or Holiday rounding -On call/ Overnight shifts are not required at this time. Extra income can be earned by taking on these shifts -Student loan repayment ($30,000 per year up to $150,000) **Note that in the upcoming months, there could be a change which might increase the total amount to a higher amount. -Malpractice Insurance Paid -Competitive salary -Eligible for State employee retirement -10 paid state Holidays -Paid time off (4 weeks plus 60 hours personal time per year) -Health, dental, and vision insurance -Some of our Psychiatrists collaborate with Nurse Practitioners -New employees are required to have a background check and drug screen upon being hired -Patient case load varies based on the unit that the docs work. Patients are not rounded on every day. **Most of our patients carry forensic legal status, our Psychiatrists do not have to have Forensic Fellowship training to attend to these cases. Psychiatrists are required to do admissions, discharge summaries and court reports. They also may have to provide testimony in court. Some units have admissions, some do not.
