Produce Associate

Position Summary Sam's Club is looking for a Produce Team Member who will make key decisions about the quality of fruits and vegetables that our members and families enjoy. The role involves ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness while being a front‑line customer service agent whose smile enhances the member experience. $18.00 - $26.00/hr Employment type and shifts may vary. What you'll do Maintain a positive attitude—smile, greet, and thank members. Provide exceptional customer service across the club, answering member questions. Keep the produce area clean, neat, and member‑ready. Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner. Track inventory to prevent out‑of‑stock or over‑stock situations. Apply quality standards for all produce, including taste, preparation, and packaging. Follow sanitation guidelines and applicable laws and company policies. Use digital tools to make real‑time quality and production decisions. Participate in cross‑functional teams to share knowledge and train peers. Demonstrate teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to Walmart values. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Capable of completing required trainings and assessments within prescribed timeframes. Pass a background check and drug screening. Preferred Qualifications Experience with produce or retail customer service. Strong communication skills and a passion for member satisfaction. Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technology.
