Essential Duties

1. Serves as receptionist , welcoming/serving visitors, answering phones, data entry, and other errands
2. Ability to communicate and listen effectively
3. Performs a variety of clerical tasks in a professional and service-oriented manner under supervision. Such as copying, filing, scanning, and data entry for ONBASE.
4. Knowledge of clerical and general office procedures and practices; knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and software.
5. Ability to organize and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner; ability to perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail; ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
6. Picks up and distributes mail to appropriate personnel.
7. Serves as secondary contact person for callers and visitors to the administrative office/department
8. Understand FERPA rules and regulations
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
• Must have time availability to work in the summer sessions.
• Must be available during normal office hours M-F 8-5
