Building Superintendent - Facilities and Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Building Superintendent - Facilities and Maintenance to oversee the maintenance and operations of several properties in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient facility management and maintain a safe, functional environment in New York. This opportunity is with a well-established, medium-sized Devlopoer/Property Management organization. The company is focused on delivering high-quality services and maintaining exceptional standards in property management, facilities management and construction. Description Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair activities for the property. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality. Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services. Respond promptly to tenant requests and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed. Implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs. Document and report maintenance activities to management. Profile A successful Building Superintendent - Facilities and Maintenance should have: Experience in property maintenance, repairs, and facility management. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with tenants and vendors. General knowledge of Building and Construction codes and Real Estate management.
