What You’ll Do: Provide support to our sister companies: Black Hills Trucking LLC & True Pipe and Supply Perform balance sheet reconciliations, financial preparation and reporting. Build customer reports. Research and analyze problems. Prepare/review routine reports i.e. sales tax. Perform transactional accounting entries. Verify that controls and processes have been followed. Work with operations, other shared services, and other stakeholders to problem solve. Facilitate the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes. What We’re Looking For: Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities A bachelor’s degree in accounting and two (2) or more years of experience in an accounting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Complete understanding of accounting principles. Ability to facilitate month/year end close process. Ability to read professional documents (invoices, various financial statements, emails). Ability to calculate financial amounts and indicators. Preferred Education, Experience and/or Abilities Oil and gas experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook software applications. Understanding of basic database programs. Ability to use 10-key by touch. Experience with accounting software, ERP’s. Additional Eligibility Qualifications English language fluency, verbal and written. Acceptable results of a pre‑employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
