About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating day/afternoon Hours per Shift: 8 and 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Must be able to circulate independently and take call as required. Scrubbing required. Description: Looking for a strong orthopedic background. This position manages a variety of surgical cases, including major orthopedic surgeries, neurosurgeries, and more. The operating room team averages between 80-120 cases per day. Experience with robotic surgery, especially Xi Robotics, is a plus. Travelers are expected to take call, with a response time of 30 minutes. Weekend shifts will be required along with holiday call, totaling 20-30 hours of standby call in a 4-week period. Must be flexible to float between 5N and 2W based on experience. Scrubs will be provided for the position. Orientation will cover both operating room areas, including familiarization with essential equipment. Essential equipment includes Bovie machines, forced air warmers, and various surgical consoles.
