• Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours (start times between 0600-0630)
• Hours/Week: Up to 40 hours/week
• Employment: Per diem placement with potential for permanent placement
• Licensure/Certs: Active RN license, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Experience: Orthopedic experience (Zimmer, Arthrex) required; capable of handling various specialties including ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, and General Surgery

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly pay rate: $31.35 $46.59 (based on experience; lower end reflected here)

What You'll Do:

• Assist in orthopedic and general surgical procedures, including total joint replacements and sports med surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, staff, and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare operating rooms, gather supplies, and maintain sterile environments
• Support with case set-up, charting, and post-operative procedures
• Float to SPD or other departments as needed, with training provided
• Adhere to safety protocols, including vaccination policies and dress code

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Kansas (or eligible)
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum orthopedic experience, particularly in total joint and sports med procedures
• Ability to scrub for multiple specialties (Ortho, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, General Surgery)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills

About the Assignment:

Join a small, efficient hospital with six OR suites, specializing in high-volume orthopedic surgeries. The facility operates Monday through Friday, offering a fast-paced environment where proficiency across multiple specialties is valued. Staff are expected to help with OR setup, case management, and cleaning, with a focus on efficiency and patient care.
