Mobile DeveloperTo support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's mobile banking applications across iOS and Android platforms. Mobile Developers are embedded within cross-functional Agile teams and play a critical role in delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendly digital experiences to millions of members. This role involves technical execution, platform advocacy, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business goals and member needs.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain mobile banking features for iOS and/or Android platformsResolve production issues and contribute to platform stability and performance improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including front-end, back-end, and product stakeholdersParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinementEnsure adherence to platform-specific development standards and best practicesWrite and maintain unit and UI tests; participate in peer code reviewsStay current with mobile OS updates, development trends, and emerging technologiesAdvocate for platform excellence and contribute to reusable component librariesMentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharingSupport enterprise-wide mobile initiatives and influence platform strategy (senior levels)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldProgressive experience in mobile application development (level-dependent)Proficiency in:iOS: Swift, Objective-C, XcodeAndroid: Kotlin, Java, Android StudioExperience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party librariesFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred)Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesDesired: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, mobile accessibility standards, and performance optimizationCareer LevelsAssociate Mobile Developer (Level 1)Focus: Learning and foundational contributionBuild small features and bug fixes under guidanceParticipate in Agile ceremonies and code reviewsLearn platform tools and development practicesPair with senior developers for mentorshipSoft Skills:CuriosityAdaptabilityClear communicationTeam collaborationMobile Developer (Level 2)Focus: Independent contribution and platform ownershipOwn moderately complex features and bug fixesRepresent mobile platform within Agile teamCollaborate with designers, analysts, and product ownersBegin mentoring junior developersSoft Skills:AccountabilityCross-functional communicationProactive problem-solvingSenior Mobile Developer (Level 3)Focus: Technical leadership and cross-team collaborationLead development of complex features and platform initiativesInfluence architecture and reusable componentsMentor junior developers and drive platform standardsRepresent mobile in cross-team effortsSoft Skills:LeadershipStrategic thinkingCoachingPlatform advocacyPrincipal Mobile Developer (Level 4)Focus: Vision-setting and enterprise-level influenceDefine mobile platform strategy across release trainsLead enterprise-wide mobile initiatives and innovationIntroduce new tools, frameworks, and practicesAdvocate for mobile excellence across the organizationSoft Skills:Visionary leadershipChange managementThought leadershipEnterprise collaborationRef: #851-Rockville-S1
