Senior Accountant (Hybrid) Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year. Our client is a rapidly growing, privately held financial services firm specializing in investment lending. Headquartered in Texas, the organization partners with real estate investors nationwide to provide flexible financing solutions across strategies such as fix‑and‑flip, rental portfolios, and ground‑up construction. Responsibilities Play a key role in the month‑end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Translate detailed, high‑volume data into accurate, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting. Partner cross‑functionally with operations and leadership to support business decision‑making. Help build and improve scalable processes as the company continues to grow. Support audits, regulatory reporting, and technical accounting research. Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership. Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services, lending, or a high‑growth environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s a plus). Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets. Experience with tools like QuickBooks; exposure to BI tools or data systems is a plus. Familiarity with technical accounting topics such as revenue recognition, financial instruments, consolidations, or fair value accounting is a plus. Exposure to areas like ASC 606, ASC 860, ASC 810, ASC 825, or ASC 480 is highly valued. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a desire to improve processes.
