Job Description

Empower students and support their educational journeys as a dedicated School Psychologist in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This full-time, contract opportunity serves two vibrant campuses: Midcity (K-5) and Materra (K-11), offering the chance to make a meaningful impact across diverse grade levels. With a primary focus on evaluations—approximately 50 across both sites—this role will be vital in shaping supportive learning environments and promoting student well-being.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current state licensure as a School Psychologist
Previous experience in K-12 educational settings is highly valued
Proficient in conducting psychological, educational, and behavioral assessments
Strong report writing and documentation skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
Flexible and adaptable, with excellent organizational skills
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students across both campuses
Attend meetings, including IEPs and multidisciplinary teams, providing expertise and recommendations
Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
Monitor progress and offer interventions or strategies as needed
Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with all relevant policies
