Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and 2 years of RN experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Required Must-Have: BSN - Highly desired, Cerner Experience Required Description: Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment required by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by documentation. Completes admission assessments within the established time frame, according to policy and procedures.
