Corporate Associate - Securities/Capital Markets

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join the Capital Markets practice group in Minneapolis, MN, or Chicago, IL. Exceptional candidates may be considered in other markets. The team represents issuers, investment banks, and other market participants in various transactions and regulatory compliance. Duties Advise on securities law and capital markets transactions. Draft registration statements and offering documents. Manage transactions and lead due diligence teams. Provide expertise in public securities offerings and private placements. Requirements 2-3 years of experience in securities law and capital markets. Experience at a large firm preferred. Familiarity with public company reporting obligations. Strong writing skills and superior academic credentials. Ability to manage multiple assignments independently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Expertise in capital markets and securities law. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
