Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$1958.40/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to laboring patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safe delivery experiences and optimal maternal and fetal health outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients through prenatal, delivery, and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and progress throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Assist in fetal monitoring and recognize signs of labor complications requiring immediate action.
• Support patients emotionally and educationally during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Document patient information accurately using the Epic charting system and fetal monitoring tools.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN certifications required; AWHONN Advanced, STABLE preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and fetal monitoring.
• Be comfortable with couplet care or transition nursery as needed.
• Possess strong assessment skills and ability to respond swiftly to emergency situations.
