Electrical Construction Superintendent

The ideal Electrical Construction Superintendent will include the following:Must be knowledgable in NEC codeSeasoned Journeyman Electrician experienceMust be able to ensure compliance with OSHA safety, health, and quality standardsMust be able to manage relationships with key stakeholders, clients, employees and vendorsMust be able to specify milestones for success and deliverables (including managing budgets) and plan work assignments that meet deadlines requirements while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contractWill manage all facets of the construction process to maintain cost compliance, proper allocation of resources, production methodsMust maintain project oversight to meet project objectives.Must be able to maintain oversight of purchasing and project costs with the Project Management TeamWill review project documentation to ensure compliance with local, state and federal codes/regulationsMust be able to take instruction and give instructionsMust present great leadership skillsMust be able to communicate verbally and electronicallyIs familiar with payroll tracking and able toResponsibilities:Effectively communicate verbally and in writingParticipating in all field work activities and willing to work with tools when necessaryCollaborates with support departments such as prefabrication, purchasing, and accountingMaintain and manage project schedulesProvide basic direction, training, and support of less experienced personnelMaintain professional appearance and conductManagement of field technicians and effective usage of timeTimely material ordering and maintaining inventory of jobsite materials using knowledge of electrical systems and electrical constructionEnsure proper usage, maintenance, and inventory of equipment and toolsInstall and repair electrical equipment and fixturesComply with and enforce company policies and proceduresOperating and maintaining company vehiclesEnsure all safety standards are met by performing meetings, "Toolbox Talks", and keeping safety recordsTroubleshoot motor and control systemsPerform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systemsMaintain open communication with Project ManagementAdhere to all quality and safety codesOversee personnel administration (field staff), weekly timesheet submission, attendance, time-off requests, daily and weekly reports and reprimands (when necessary)Qualifications:4+ years of on-site supervision of general construction servicesMust be at least 21 years of agePossess a valid driver's licenseLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDCompletion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8000+ hrs)Maintain all licensing and training requirementsStrong knowledge and application of National Electric Code (NEC)OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid trainedConstruction Quality ControlFamiliarity with electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manualsFamiliarity with electrical and mechanical equipment and hand toolsStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsCompensation based on experienceBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)Electrical License (Preferred)This position will require a pre-employment drug screening.
