Senior Fire Protection Engineer

To support the mission of the MHS, the full-time Senior Fire Protection Engineer will design and review fire protection systems, coordinate engineering activities, and ensure compliance with safety codes while working remotely with required travel to DHA facilities. Key responsibilities Design and review fire protection systems, including alarms and suppression components, while preparing necessary documentation Lead the Engineering Infrastructure team on fire protection matters and manage engineering projects related to fire safety Conduct evaluations and inspections of existing fire protection systems, providing technical reports and recommendations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering A minimum of five years of practical experience in design/construction, with three years occurring in the last four years Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance Willingness to travel approximately 6-12 times per year
