Plasma Center Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Part‑Time Location: Warner Robins, GA, USA. Schedule: 4-6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week. Confirm availability early in the interview process and receive advance notice of any schedule changes. Responsibilities Greet donors upon entry and exit of the donor floor. Perform venipuncture and program the plasmapheresis machine. Monitor donors during donation process and manage donor reactions. Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training scope. Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines. Stock supplies, break down empty cartons, and assist with proper disposal. Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and other measures (hematocrit, total protein, weight). Perform finger‑sticks, test samples, and record results. Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS). Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the debit card system. Support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement (5S, value stream mapping, kaizen). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of customer or patient‑facing experience (helpful). Ability to walk, stand for whole shift; lift up to 32 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs). Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Prolonged glove wear (90% of tasks) due to bloodborne pathogen exposure (Risk Level 1). Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage: $17.00 (starting rate). Additional wage may align with state or local minimum wage requirements.
