Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols, adjusting scanning parameters to optimize image quality.
- Prepare and position patients, verify identity and orders, screen for contraindications to contrast if applicable, and ensure patient safety and comfort during the exam.
- Operate CT scanner and related equipment, monitor patient status during scanning, and communicate with radiologists to achieve diagnostic-quality images.
- Maintain radiation safety practices, follow infection control procedures, and document procedures in the patient record.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to complete studies efficiently and accurately; assist with patient transfers and provide thorough handoffs to care teammates.
- Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and report any malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or biomedical staff.

Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT (required)
- Minimum 2 years CT experience (required)
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour day schedule with weekend rotation every 6th weekend (required)
- Ability to independently perform cross-sectional imaging procedures and deliver quality images
- Strong patient-care skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Documentation skills and familiarity with radiology information systems
