Operations Manager

About The Role CBRE is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to support a major telecommunications client in Madison, Wisconsin. Location: Madison, WI (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time What You’ll Do Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client expectations and CBRE standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for operational matters. Supervise and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and ongoing professional development. Oversee vendor performance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual obligations are consistently achieved. Manage operational budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to support profitability and cost-control objectives. Coordinate and prioritize service requests, projects, and operational initiatives to meet business objectives and client expectations. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and client procedures. Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Partner with cross-functional teams to support facility operations, maintenance activities, workplace services, and strategic projects. Develop contingency plans and support business continuity efforts to minimize operational disruptions. Provide regular reporting and operational updates to leadership and client stakeholders. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience in operations management, facilities management, workplace services, telecommunications, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Proven leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and client relationships in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and driving operational performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound business decisions. Experience managing service delivery and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions. Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
