Your Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients, recommend diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently as per your credentials
- Guide patients and their families in health maintenance, wellness, and disease prevention strategies
- Prescribe medications and therapies adhering to your practice scope
- Engage in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
- Work cohesively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain meticulous documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduated from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oklahoma
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days)
