Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms, while building a trusting rapport. \n
- Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs, goals, and preferences. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client growth and healing. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, possible treatment paths, and effective self-care strategies. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on their ongoing needs. \n
- Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure comprehensive client support. \n
- Stay updated on the latest research regarding mood disorders and treatment advancements to continuously improve therapeutic strategies. \n
- Maintain thorough and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities. \n
- Act as an advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and working to meet their emotional and psychological needs. \n
Your primary focus will be working with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including anxiety and depression, as well as substance use issues. You will support clients on their journey toward recovery, instilling hope and resilience while providing evidence-based treatment tailored to their individual situations.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess a valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. \n

- Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are crucial when addressing clients’ unique experiences and challenges. \n
