Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Major manufacturer in the greater Morristown, TN area has immediate need for a Department Production Manager. This is a high-volume production area operating 3-shifts. The Department Manager will lead Production Supervisors overseeing nearly 100 hourly employees.

Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in Manager or Supervisor level positions. The Department Manager will focus on improving processes, resolving production issues, and ensuring safety, quality and delivery goals are met. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a lot of time on the production floor.  

There is opportunity for the Department Manager to positively effect change is this area to bring on new customers. An energetic demeanor, solid understanding of high-volume manufacturing and strong leadership skills are needed.
