BIM Technician II

We take pride in fostering a fun, supportive culture that values mentorship, continuous learning, and team-building activities, whether it’s office barbecues, golf tournaments, or family-friendly events.With offices in Tacoma, Seattle, and Portland, we offer a flexible hybrid work environment, though this is not a fully remote role.Summary of Position:Under general supervision, with some exercise of judgment, prepares computer-generated engineering drawings according to established standards and procedures using computer-aided design (CAD) software programs.Responsible for small to medium size Revit projects in accordance with PCS standards.Interprets schematic designs to create layout of model.Creates basic view, template, and sheet structures for small to medium sized projects.Performs medium level modeling tasks, primarily performs secondary or support modeling and detailing tasks on large projects for Senior BIM techs.Capable of modeling elements up to a level 300.Capable of creating addendums sets and sketches.Revises or changes drawings, traces and/or copies existing drawings, and completes simple calculations with specific instructions.Meets deadlines with schedule and offers progress reports.Assists in the training of BIM Technician I.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Design, Architectural Design or Construction Management or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.4-7 years of experience with Revit/AutoCAD software programs.4-7 years of understanding construction systems in relation to modeling. Ex: wood framing, CFS framing, steel framing, masonry layout, concrete reinforcement and post tensioning.Basic understanding of construction means and methods.
