Product Manager - Hybrid in CT

The Product Manager - MarketProminence owns the long-term product strategy, roadmap, and delivery outcomes for an assigned MarketProminence product vertical. This leader represents customer needs, partners with cross-functional teams, and translates market, client, and business insight into clear priorities that deliver measurable value. This hybrid role also supports the continued evolution of MarketProminence across Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, financial, and technology modernization initiatives. *Note: Position is based in Guilford, CT.Position ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a small and growing product management team responsible for an assigned MarketProminence product vertical.Define and maintain the long-term product strategy and roadmap, including the drivers, outcomes, and trade-offs used to prioritize work.Represent the voice of the customer by gathering and incorporating customer research, market feedback, and product usage data into roadmap decisions.Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and other stakeholders to define requirements, resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and deliver high-quality product outcomes.Communicate product plans, roadmap priorities, and delivery progress clearly across the organization and with customers.Make informed trade-off decisions that maximize customer and business value while balancing short-term delivery needs and long-term product priorities.Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of product management processes, metrics, and operating practices.Identify industry trends, unmet market needs, and innovation opportunities that can shape future MarketProminence capabilities.Support client-facing roadmap discussions, client business reviews, customer advisory activities, RFP responses, and product-related presentation materials.Partner with Product Management leadership to contribute to the broader product portfolio strategy and execution model.Position Requirements7+ years of demonstrated product management experience, including ownership of product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery outcomes.3+ years of people-management experience with multiple direct reports, including remote or geographically distributed teams.Experience delivering technology solutions in healthcare, including work with payer and/or provider organizations and exposure to Medicare and Medicaid programs.Strong technical understanding and experience partnering with Engineering to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements.Strong understanding of Agile software development and the ability to balance short- and long-term product priorities.Demonstrated ability to use customer research, market insight, and data to identify opportunities and make roadmap decisions.Ability to navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions without complete information, and manage strategic trade-offs effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communications for executives, customers, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.Strong organization, project-management, and process-improvement skills; able to keep work moving across multiple teams and priorities.Additional QualificationsStrategic, detail-oriented leader who understands how product decisions align to company strategy and customer outcomes.Collaborative and proactive leader who builds strong cross-functional relationships and drives work forward.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand the product deeply and advocate effectively for customer needs.Comfortable working across time zones as necessary and supporting customer-facing activities.All prospective employees must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.Education/Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in product management, healthcare technology, business, or a related field.Certified Scrum Product Owner credentials are a plus.At MHK we help health plans and pharmacy benefit managers deliver optimal care management across every member’s health journey.
