Distribution Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual responsible for the overall daily management of staff of 30+ and all relative functions of the warehouse operations.

This role is part of our Operations Supervisors Team which supports our 20/7, 365 distribution facility.

Duties

Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and warehouse distribution in partnership with the other day shift Operations Supervisor.
Collaborate with the Fleet Manager on all drivers, routes, deliveries.
Coordinate and schedule project order fulfillment
Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Oversee warehouse equipment operation, and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience, minimum five years, in warehouse operations management within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment.
Ability to respond to emails (Microsoft Outlook)
Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation management
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture.
Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
Ability to make quick decisions, pivot and solve challenges to keep the teams moving
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
