Commercial Glazing Service Estimator

Glass Doctor of North Texas is looking for an experienced Commercial Glazing Service Estimator to join our growing team.

This is not a new construction estimating role.

We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced world of commercial service work , the person who can walk a property, identify problems, develop solutions, accurately estimate repairs, and help customers get back in business quickly.

If you know commercial glass, storefront systems, doors, hardware, and service operations inside and out, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Estimate repairs and replacements for commercial storefronts, doors, hardware, and glazing systems.
• Prepare accurate proposals and scopes of work.
• Work directly with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and business owners.
• Identify additional repair opportunities and help grow existing accounts.
• Coordinate with operations, technicians, and purchasing to ensure jobs are completed successfully.
• Manage projects from estimate through completion while maintaining exceptional customer communication.

What You Must Know

We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of:

• Commercial storefront systems
• Aluminum entrances and framing systems
• All major glass types including tempered, laminated, insulated, low-E, fire-rated, safety, and specialty glass
• Commercial doors and entrances
• Door hardware including closers, pivots, panic devices, hinges, locks, exit devices, and access control components
• Storefront and curtain wall repairs
• Glass replacement methods and field glazing techniques
• Labor estimation and job costing
• Commercial service operations and scheduling

Schedule & Benefits

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. We work until the job is complete. Rotating Saturdays required.
