We are seeking Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Angels team! As a QMHP, you will provide direct behavioral health support, psychoeducation, skill-building, crisis de-escalation, care coordination, and documentation services for no more than six boys at any given time who are ages 7–11 residing in a warm and caring group home setting. The QMHP works under appropriate clinical supervision and collaborates with residential staff, families or guardians, community providers, schools, and leadership to support each child’s emotional, behavioral, social, and daily living needs. Responsibilities
· Provide behavioral health services and supportive interventions consistent with each resident’s Individualized Service Plan, treatment goals, and program policies.
· Assist with screening, intake, orientation, assessment support, and ongoing service planning as assigned.
· Implement age-appropriate psychosocial skill-building activities focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, boundaries, hygiene, personal responsibility, peer interaction, and daily living skills.
· Facilitate individual and group psychoeducational sessions appropriate for boys ages 7–11 in a trauma-informed, strengths-based manner.
· Provide crisis support, behavioral redirection, and de-escalation in accordance with agency procedures and applicable regulations.
· Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ behavior, functioning, safety needs, and progress toward goals.
· Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, service summaries, incident-related documentation, and other required records.
· Collaborate with licensed clinicians, program leadership, direct care staff, case managers, schools, families or guardians, and community partners.
· Support residents’ participation in routines, therapeutic activities, educational expectations, recreational activities, and community integration opportunities.
· Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, residents’ rights, and a safe, structured, nurturing group home environment.
· Participate in staff meetings, supervision, training, quality assurance activities, and care coordination meetings as required.
· Follow all agency policies, licensing standards, mandatory reporting requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.

- Current registration or eligibility as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as recognized by the applicable state board or regulatory authority.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field such as psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, special education, human services, or a related discipline preferred or required per applicable regulations.
- Experience working with children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, trauma-related, or mental health needs.
- Experience in a residential group home, children’s behavioral health program, community-based service, or similar environment preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks, child protective services registry checks and all onboarding requirements.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record
