Senior Supervisor

The Senior Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor leads all maintenance and facilities operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, overseeing a team of approximately 12 maintenance and facilities technicians. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, compressed air, dust collection, building automation systems, and overall facility infrastructure. The supervisor manages preventive maintenance programs through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), coordinates contractors and vendors, supports capital projects and equipment installations, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close partnership with production leadership to maximize equipment uptime and overall plant performance, while building a high-performing team and maintaining a strong culture of safety and accountability.

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of approximately 12 maintenance and facilities technicians, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Oversee daily maintenance and facilities operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
• Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, dust collection systems, building automation systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize preventive maintenance programs using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities to support production goals and minimize unplanned outages.
• Provide hands-on support for mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks as needed, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors for maintenance, repair, and facility-related projects, ensuring work quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Support capital projects and equipment installations by coordinating resources, scheduling work, and ensuring proper commissioning and handover.
• Partner closely with production leadership to align maintenance activities with production schedules and maximize overall equipment effectiveness and plant uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and facility operations.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and best practices in all maintenance and facilities activities.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, peers, and leadership, ensuring clear expectations, timely updates, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and facility systems within the CMMS and other documentation systems.
• Support the implementation and adherence to building automation and control strategies to optimize energy use and system performance.
• Work a scheduled shift of Sunday through Wednesday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other Wednesday optional based on business needs, while providing leadership coverage as required.

• Proven experience in a maintenance and facilities leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, including troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance on manufacturing machines and related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team, with strong people management and mentorship skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence at multiple levels.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, preferably using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and accountability in all maintenance and facilities operations.
• Background as a supervisor or lead in maintenance, facilities, or a related technical field.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical issues on production and facility equipment.

• Prior experience supervising maintenance technicians or facilities personnel in a large manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating contractors and vendors for maintenance, repair, and facility projects.
• Exposure to capital projects and equipment installations, including planning, coordination, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with building automation systems, HVAC, compressed air, and dust collection systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and maintenance records.
• Ability to build a positive team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

The role is based in a large manufacturing environment operating 24/7, with significant exposure to production equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, dust collection systems, and building automation systems. The schedule runs Sunday through Wednesday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other Wednesday optional depending on business needs. The environment is fast-paced and operationally focused, requiring regular presence on the production floor and close interaction with maintenance technicians, production staff, and external contractors.

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
