Endoscopy Technician 2

Overview Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Tech 2 to join the team. This role will be PRN. Ten or Twelve hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off, paid parental leave Job Responsibilities Inclusive of the duties and responsibilities of Endo Tech 1. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the Endo tech. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of both basic and advanced endoscopic procedures. Expedites the procedure by anticipating the needs of the endoscopist. Demonstrates collaboration with other team members in planning/giving patient care; Actively shares knowledge with staff regarding devices/techniques and procedures. May perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Certification - Basic Life Support from AHA UPON START Experience - 1 year Endoscopy Technician experience. Additional Note: Leader recommendation for promotion from Endoscopy Technician 1 Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
