Frontline Kubernetes Cloud-Native Support Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Cloud Native Support Engineer to join our front-line support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal customers, partners, and engineering teams — helping them troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues related to Kubernetes cloud-native platforms. You will play a critical part in ensuring system reliability, smooth operations, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Act as the first line of support for internal teams and partners — providing timely response, acknowledgement, and resolution ownership. Handle incoming requests, incidents, and queries related to Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and cloud-native applications. Take ownership of cases from acknowledgement to completion, ensuring proactive follow-up until the issue is fully resolved or appropriately escalated. Collaborate with L2/L3 engineers, SREs, and platform teams for complex problem resolution. Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolution in the ticketing system. Perform initial diagnostics using Kubernetes tools (e.g., kubectl, logs, events) to identify root causes. Participate in on-call rotations and ensure SLA compliance for response and resolution times. Provide excellent customer service — communicating clearly, empathetically, and professionally with internal stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps Support, or Kubernetes-based environments. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes fundamentals — including Deployments, Services, Admissions, Cluster control plane and basic troubleshooting. Experience in automation or scripting for operational efficiency. Experience using monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent). Familiarity with Linux systems, command-line tools, and scripting (Bash, Python preferred). Good knowledge in Agentic AI Bot development - LangChain/Claude is a plus Excellent communication skills — capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences. Nice to Have Familiarity with Helm, Istio, or container runtime environments. Certification in Kubernetes (CKA or CKS) or equivalent experience.
