Business Immigration Attorney

To support this momentum, the firm seeks an Attorney with expertise in business immigration to join the team. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity to work alongside industry‑leading professionals in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The Business Immigration Attorney at CIP, P.C. is responsible for reviewing and filing immigration casework, liaising with client contacts, providing strategic legal counsel, and managing immigration programs. In‑depth experience with high‑volume employment‑based NIV and IV immigration cases, including PERM, I‑140, AOS, H‑1B, L‑1, TN, and E‑visa matters, is required. The role also requires legal research and preparation of complex written projects, as well as reviewing the work of Paralegals to ensure accuracy and quality. What you’ll do Prepare and file cases for acceptance and approval, including H‑1B, I‑140, I‑485, and client‑relevant NIV/IV. Perform client management and consult for small business potential clients, guiding them through the process. Support Managing Attorney on enterprise clients and lead assigned team(s). Liaise with other attorneys or departments on projects. Maintain casework quality and consistency on the assigned team(s). Evaluate cases and provide case strategies and solutions to issues. Provide coverage for attorneys on vacation and leave of absence. Mentor paralegals and supervise other employees as required. Supplement and maintain knowledge of law and policy changes. Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda and/or briefs. Analyze facts, patterns, and complex legal issues to provide sound legal advice. Prepare immigration‑based filings for complex case management. Build rapport and foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues in a professional, proactive, considerate, and accountable manner. Other duties as assigned. What you bring Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Admittance to the State Bar. 1–3 years of related experience. 1+ years of experience with PERM. Experience with H‑1B, L‑1, TN, and E visas. Track record of consistently meeting Service Level Expectations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools. Fluency in English, written and verbal; bilingual a plus, not required. Excellent interpersonal skills focused on delivering exceptional client service. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar. Attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work. Analytical ability to evaluate data and cases. Team‑playing ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines. Tech savvy with strong computer literacy and ability to adapt to state‑of‑the‑art Envoy Global case‑processing software. Positive contribution to team morale, even within a remote work environment. Ability to multitask and fulfill daily responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to troubleshoot and strategize for solution options and recommendations.
