As a Resident Care Assistant at The Wyndmoor of Marion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual like you to join our team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to provide high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff. You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with our residents and their families, helping to create a sense of community and fostering a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

• Assist with mealtime and feeding, as needed

• Participate in activities and programs designed to promote resident engagement and well-being

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and activities

• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

• No certifications required-we do on job training

• High school diploma preferred but not required

• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
